Eaton’s finally get their just Desserts

Eaton’s Patisserie Limited are a manufacturer of quality handmade desserts to the leisure and hospitality sector who were established in 2010.

The company were previously located in Kingsteignton, Devon and had been looking to move to Torbay for a number of years as their premises were no longer large enough to support their continued growth servicing their key accounts across the UK.

The company had been working with the TDA to find the right premises for many years and through a deal brokered by the TDA identified a site being vacated by an outgoing French dessert manufacturer.

The move brought 36 full-time jobs and 7 part-time jobs to Torbay. As well as safeguarding jobs, the relocation has the potential to create a further 22 new full-time jobs. This provides Eaton’s with a space to grow and expand their business and target new sales markets across the UK and potentially overseas.

Russell Eaton, Managing Director of Eaton’s Patisserie, said:

“We are thankful to the TDA for making this deal possible. It has taken many years to find a site to invest in to enable us to increase volume production of our quality handmade desserts. The South Devon Highway enables us to serve customers quickly and makes it the ideal location for us to expand and invest in our successful team.”

Jason Buck, Investment Development Manager at TDA, said:

“This deal secures a new inward investor into Torbay. By adding Eaton’s to the existing growing manufacturing businesses in Torbay, we will see further job creation and investment in facilities and people.
TDA continues to identify opportunities for growing manufacturing companies to move into Torbay and make use of existing purpose built space or work with companies to create something new.”
